What families should know
One competition, grade-level pathways.
Students compete at their actual school grade level. Kindergarten students take the Grade 1 test and must read independently. Grades K–4 receive 24 questions; grades 5–12 receive 30 questions.

Regular enrollment opens
Parents enroll through the official Math Kangaroo registration system using the center listing or invitation code.
Regular enrollment deadline
The official school-center rate is $20 per student for the 2027 cycle.
Late enrollment deadline
Late registration is $35 per student, subject to center capacity.
Competition day
Students complete the grade-level paper or digital test at their registered center.
