Questions and policies
Helpful answers for Y2L Academy families.
How much notice is required to drop a subject or withdraw?
Families must provide at least 30 days’ written notice to drop an enrolled subject or program or to withdraw from enrollment. A request to change the student’s regular class time may be discussed with the office and does not require the same 30-day notice; schedule changes depend on class capacity, level compatibility, staffing, and teacher availability, and a requested time is not guaranteed.
Promotional pricing does not provide a month-to-month right to reduce or end a commitment without reconciliation. When a family drops a subject or program or withdraws during a promotional commitment, tuition, payments, credits, and any refund or balance are reviewed and prorated or reconciled based on the time and services already used and the applicable plan and accepted commitment terms. This review does not promise an automatic refund. No refunds are issued for classes already attended. The Enrollment Agreement and Family Portal acknowledgement contain the controlling terms.
Can my child attend a trial?
Trial availability depends on the program, session capacity, and current policy. Submit a trial request and operations will confirm the details.
Can two guardians access the family portal?
Yes. Each approved guardian uses a separate email and login connected to the same family account.
How do I choose the right program?
Submit an inquiry with your child’s grade and interests. Y2L Academy can recommend an appropriate program, level, or trial.
How do makeups work?
Families with an eligible active enrollment may request a makeup. Operations reviews eligibility and available capacity before approving it.
What happens when a class is full?
The request can be placed on a waitlist. No payment should be collected until a seat and enrollment terms are confirmed.
Which payment methods are supported?
The planned portal supports online payments as well as staff-recorded Zelle, cash, and check payments. Final online options remain under testing.
